Hey guys and welcome back. Today we have a 2008 Nissan Altima with the v6 - We are replacing the alternator. This is the Third time doing this as Remans are NO good. Speed the extra to get the OEM you will not be disappointed - At least for this car.

2:20 draining coolant
3:48 removing bumper
9:15 removing headlights
11:00 removing airbox
12:00 removing upper radiator hose
13:45 removing engine cover
14:15 disconnect battery
14:35 unplug o2 sensor
14:50 removing coolant overflow and fill neck
17:10 moving down crash bar support to remove fans
20:40 remove fan
23:08 Science!
23:20 removing another radiator hose
24:50 remove "these"
25:22 disconnect alternator
27:02 remove o2 sensor and heat shield
29:37 remove passenger front wheel
30:10 release belt tension
30:47 remove idler pulley
31:49 alternator mounting bolts
33:00 alternator hanger bracket
34:42 move some things out of the way
35:42 wiggle wiggle wiggle bolt
36:10 wiggle wiggle some more
36:45 shimmy it out
37:50 slap this bad boy in
39:33 a bit more wiggling to slip that bolt through
40:01 break out the prybar, we're getting serious here
40:31 get those bolts and bracket in
47:43 installing idler pulley
49:11 install belt
52:05 plugging in alternator
