Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, the United States Navy demonstrated the low altitude strike prowess of the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and Strike Fighter Wing Atlantic. 5 Aircraft launched and 2 ground aborted. These were VFA-83 jets that were going to compose air to air portion of the demo, which was canceled due to the low ceilings.
