I recently soloed every boss with Neuvillette and found out he can actually defeat the Hydro Hypostasis all the way. This is how I did it. I soloed the boss just to show that there is no trick or buff from party members is involved. I used the Ocean Hued Clam set on Neuvillette in order to deal physical damage. There is also an achievement for defeating the Hydro cube in this manner (without killing the end phase slimes). Usually it is done with Geo traveller, using skill or burst constructs to block the slimes. And as far as I know, this is the first time a Hydro catalyst defeated the Hydro Cube all the way alone.
