Myoko Kogen is characterized by heavy snow and powdery snow. Snow is often encountered here, and there is always endless good snow.

The longest ski trail at Suginohara Snow Resort is 8.5 kilometers long, and it’s super fun to ride all the way. The snow trails are wide and not crowded, which is very suitable for practicing movements and is friendly to snow enthusiasts of all levels.
When the outlook is good, you can see Lake Nojiri, Madarao Snow Resort in the distance, and even Mount Fuji, which is 190 kilometers away. Unfortunately, it was foggy when we went. If you have a chance to see it, please share the beautiful scenery with us!

It is recommended for advanced skiers to try the 32-degree Super Mogul Trail at the top of the mountain, which is an interesting black line with powder and moguls.

The transportation connections in the Myoko area are not dense and convenient, and all transportation requires a fee (compare with Hakuba and Echigo-Yuzawa area). It is recommended to give priority to accommodation near the bus station, or accommodation that can provide shuttle services.
