I am incredibly happy and proud to share that the "Imusicapella" choir from the Philippines has won the Grand Prix at the 2024 Baltic Sea Choir Competition, in my home country, Latvia! 🇵🇭🎶 Competing against choirs from 8 different countries, including Latvia, they touched the hearts of both the judges and the audience. Their beautiful performance earned them a Grand Prize: €3,500 and the Audience Award. It's moments like this that make me so proud of the connection between my two homes, and I’m thrilled to celebrate the exceptional talent of the Filipino people on such an international stage!
