Part of the larger campaign #BesideNotBehind, 'The Underdog' highlights the disparity in resources and pay gap in Women's sport, in particular Women's AFL.

FACTS ON WOMEN’S AFL:

- Despite its popularity, female players are paid 125 times less than their male counterparts.
- The top 2 players of each team will get about $25,000 for the season, compared with $300,000 for top male players in AFL.
- Even the lowest paid AFL male players gets paid $57,000 without playing a single game, and female rookies earn $5000. Which is why most professional female footballers still have part-time or full-time jobs to support their career.

HOW WE CAN PROGRESS:
- Support and attend women’s games
- Market and make the Women’s AFL the main event, not just a supporting event for the Men’s Games
