Welcome to a DAY IN MY LIFE as a high school teacher, on a very busy Friday. Come check my high school classroom! Today my students are working on projects which include a One Pager for Long Way Down and a travel brochure (to apply their research). Students are in and out and I try to demonstrate what I do behind the scenes. You will also see what I eat for lunch, how I try to stay organized, and I try to provide you with my personal tips for staying productive. Enjoy! I love what I do. Have fun teaching!

My name is Alexa Borota and I am a high school English teacher; I also taught middle school English Language Arts. I teach in a title l school in New Jersey. I am also a mom, grad student, and writer.

My goals are to share tips for teachers. Teaching is less stressful when we are supporting each other and sharing' our best practices. When I was a new teacher, I wanted to know how other teachers were delivering lessons and what their classroom management routines were. I hope my content is helpful for both new and seasoned teachers.
