Beautiful excursion in the Catinaccio Group starting from Pera di Fassa.
From Pera di Fassa take the ski lift to Pian Pecei. This saves 500 meters in altitude. The Catinaccio Group, Rosengarten in German and Ciadenac in Ladin, is one of the most beautiful in the Fassa Dolomites. From the Rifugio Re Alberto I ° or from the Rifugio Passo Santner you have a wonderful view of the six Vajolet Towers.

ITINERARY
It starts from Pian Pecei (1800 m), where the Vajolet ski lift arrives, and takes the path that leads in 40 minutes to the Rifugio Gardeccia (1949 m). Here you continue on 546 and arrive in 1 hour at the Rifugi Preuss and Vajolet (2243 m). Cross them, and shortly afterwards on the left, take path 542 which will take you in 1 hour to the Rifugio Re Alberto I ° (2621 m). Continue uphill and after about 20 minutes you will arrive at the Rifugio Passo Santner (2734 m). Return along the same route to the Rifugio Gardeccia. Here take the path that passes through the Rifugio Catinaccio and return to the starting point.
