Trip to Belitung EP2, Kota Tanjung Pandan and Carnival Belitung
This month, my work and life have mostly revolved around two main streets in downtown Tanjung Pandan, Belitung Island. I’m staying at the BW Inn, a nice hotel on Jl Sriwijaya, which is super convenient with all the nearby convenience stores and food stalls. The other main street, Jl Sudiman, is where we work every day. Daytime busy and Nighttime lazy, This gave me a good excuse to delay updating my YouTube channel:). However, this month, Belitung Island is celebrating Indonesia's Independence Day with a carnival parade, so I took the opportunity to update my video. Unfortunately, it was hard to find the perfect spot to shoot, and I ended up filming through the gaps between people’s heads and shoulders with a zoom lens. While I couldn’t capture the full scope of the parade, at least I recorded the enthusiasm of the local crowd! :)
