Kolkata to Odisa Road Trip. The journey started at almost 7.30am in the morning. The distance of Sambalpur from kolkata is almost 600 km and it takes around 12 hours to reach. The route followed from kolkata, kolaghat, kharagpur, jharsuguda, bangriposi, bisoi, keonjhar, deogarh forest range and Sambalpur. The road is quite nice. 3 patches were very bad at Bisoi forest range, Jhasipur to keonjhar and at Sri Deogarh Forest range.
We stayed at Hotel LI N JA sambalpur. 5 to 6 kms away from the highway.
