Welcome to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Home to around 770,000 people and located along the Sava River, the city sits at the southern slopes of Medvednica mountain.

We have recorded a few tours in this city https://www.youtube.com/results?searc.... On this tour we will see Ban Jelačić Square, the city's main square which serves as a central meeting point. We also pass Zagreb’s Cathedral, with its twin spires reaching 108 meters - the tallest building in Croatia.

The city of Zagreb has been Croatia’s political and cultural center since it became the capital in 1991. Zagreb has also medieval landmarks like St. Mark’s Church and its colorful tiled roof in the Upper Town, alongside Austro-Hungarian buildings in the Lower Town which we will also see on this tour.

One of Zagreb's unusual attractions is the Museum of Broken Relationships at Kulmer palace in the Upper Town. This museum is showcasing personal objects from failed relationships around the world.

We walk from the Upper Town down to the city center again and soon finish our tour.

Did you know: Zagreb also hosts one of Europe's oldest running public transportation systems, with its first horse-drawn tram introduced in 1891. For now let's explore Zagreb on foot on this nice summer day!
