Chester Bridge Construction Update for July 30th, 2024. There are a lot of guys back to work. Today's video starts with a look at pier #6 on the Illinois side. It's going to be a rebuild for the top deck but everything else looks intact. Then I fly out to pier #5 at take a quick look. They were on lunch break so I headed over to pier #4 on the Missouri side and RMC Readymix LLC and the Ames Construction crew was pouring concrete on the north side tower. Dicky was running the crane. It's nice to see Joey Wilson and his crew back to work here. Next week they are going to work on the coffer at pier 5 and hopefully they can get the rebar in it and get it poured so it's up out of the water soon.
