David wrote Psalm 59 when King Shaul sent his men to capture him at his home. It is a Psalm about David's history and his faith in Hashem as well as a Psalm in which each of us can find own inner battles. Also, it's a Psalm for the times of the war of Gog and Magog. It is also included in Rebbe Nachman of Breslov's Tikkun Haklali.

Psalm 59 is a segula against the yetzer hara.

With insights from the Midrash, Rashi, Rebbe Nachman, Reb Noson, Rav Hirsch and more.
