Ismail Abdurahman appeals his convictions for assisting an offender and terrorism offences. He was jailed for 10 years - later reduced to eight years on appeal - in 2008 for assisting failed 21/7 London bomber Hussain Osman by offering him a safe house in the days following the botched attack.

The appeal centres on police interviews, where he was treated only as a witness when officers knew he was a suspect in the case.

Louis Mably QC continues his response before John King, for Abdurahman makes his closing statements. Dame Victoria Sharp, sitting with Mr Justice Garnham and Mr Justice Chamberlain, heard the case at the Royal Courts of Justice in central London and later dismissed the appeal

The case had been referred to the Court of Appeal by the Criminal Cases Review Commission as a potentially unsafe conviction following a decision by the European Court of Human Rights that found Abdurahman's trial had been "irretrievably prejudiced".
