Cleaning Kit for Paper Pick-up Rollers

If it becomes difficult to feed paper, printouts are dirty, or paper jams repeatedly occur, follow the steps below to use the sheet For cleaning use and the sheet "For wiping use' to clean the Paper Pick-up Rollers

Step 1: Use the sheet 'For cleaning use' to remove any dirt.

Turn the machine off.

Remove all paper from the paper tray.

Dampen the cleaning sheet sponge pad (Figure A:①) with water.

Use a clean dry cloth to remove all moisture from all areas other than the sponge pad.

Be careful not to use the wiping sheet. The wiping sheet must be dry for Step 2

Insert the sheet into the paper tray.

Fit the projections (Figure B:) on the sheet into the slots (Figure B:) on the paper tray. After inserting the sheet, slowly push the paper tray into the machine.

Press and hold [Mono] and [Colour] simultaneously and turn the machine on, and then hold [Mono] and [Colour] for two seconds (the Power LED blinks slowly).

Press [Mono] or [Colour). The process takes approximately 2-3 minutes.

When the process is complete (the Power LED blinks slowly), remove the sheet.

Step 2: Use the sheet 'For wiping use' to remove any moisture.

Repeat Step1, instructions and 3 to use the wiping sheet to dry the machine.

Step 3: Make a few blank copies to completely remove any remaining moisture.

Load plain Letter or A4 size paper into the paper tray.

(Available only for certain models) Make sure you set the paper type and paper size correctly.
