I first read this book in August of 2011. After that I read two other books by this author. I am the Messenger I read in February of 2020 and Bridge of Clay in March of that same year.

The Book Thief completely blew me away, because form and story are perfectly integrated and complement each other. This book holds the 13th place in my top 25 of my favorite books of all time. Here’s the review I wrote back in 2011.
