In todays lesson I will give you some lead guitar tips for better practice. We can play and practice lead guitar by locating the root note of the song key. I will teach some ways to play lead guitar around the root note. Early on, I did not think about using the root note this way. I could have saved years of practice. Because I was playing up and down full scale patterns over and over but it really did not help improve my guitar playing. It’s so important to practice the right things on Guitar. This intermediate guitar lesson will help you connect the dots in so many areas of your lead guitar playing. I know many of us did not practice the guitar very efficiently, but using this root note concept, we can easily create an awesome blues rock lead guitar solo. we will be much more confident as we improvise up and down the fretboard. We should be learning this as a beginner. Then it becomes second nature as we get into intermediate and advanced level Guitar playing.
