In this video we record and produce an indie folk song in the style of Sufjan Stevens, taking inspiration especially from his albums Illinois and Carrie & Lowell. We record ukulele, rubber bridge guitar, banjo, and vocals, and layer up other MIDI instruments like pianos, horns, synths, and more. We also go into detail about the way Sufjan Stevens layers, processes & mixes his vocals to get his signature sound.
