In her practice, Ingrid Hora explores the themes of collective effort and togetherness and invites the viewers to contemplate the potential of civic engagement, trust, and collaboration, encouraging us to celebrate the beauty and possibilities of working together towards a shared goal.

The title of her solo exhibition in spring 2023 at Galleria Doris Ghetta in Ortisei is 'Raccolta' (it. harvest) which presents several layers of reading and interpretation. The harvest is historically thought of as a collective moment. It is when a community comes together for several days and engages in a single effort to determine its future; the agricultural, of course, but this understanding can be expanded to politics, social movements, and celebrations, big and small. Ingrid Hora's works urge us to draw strength from our shared experiences and lift one another up, even in the face of adversity. Her art serves as a reminder that we are all connected and that togetherness can accomplish great things.
