Unveiled as the 'house of the future' in 1984 by Queen Elizabeth II it was built to coincide with the opening of the International Garden Festival

one house in particular stands out amongst all these and its a Barratts super house

The Barratt super home was unveiled by Queen Elizabeth II in 1984 as the 'house of the future', coinciding with the opening of the International Garden Festival.

Based on Priory Close in L17, the road dubbed Liverpool's 'Millionaires Row' when the home first went on sale, the property resides close to the former festival site.

sporting a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, double garage, conservatory, two bathrooms and fully fitted kitchen, it's no wonder the home went on the market for a cool £250,000 way back then.

At the front is a studio apartment with adjoining wet room. There is also a substantial substantial rear garden, driveway and patio area.
