iPhone 14 Pro Max 🆚 Sony Alpha 7 III - Night Camera Test

Recently, I have been looking for more convenient and portable travel photography equipment. I considered shooting with the iPhone in place of my Sony. My iPhone seemed to be taking better pictures than my Sony due to its excellent stabilization and potential in low-light scenes. Then I did a fun comparison between my iPhone 14 pro max and my Sony A7 iii.

After this quick comparison test, the iPhone 14 Pro Max camera is amazing, but the image taken with Sony is much clearer in even poor lighting. I used the iPhone's photographic App "Halide" to match the iso settings on both devices. While I was happy with the results, I am not going to sell my sony camera soon.

Camera settings:

- Sony FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM.
16mm for the comparison with iPhone ultra-wide angle lens

- Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN.
24mm and 70mm for the comparison with iPhone's main lens and telephoto lens
