I’ve well and truly fallen in love with this show. Its heart, its hope, and all of its profoundly human moments. Season 1 was basically a perfect season of television. But by choosing to go deeper into the characters and explore their inner conflicts, season 2 in many ways elevated the show even further. It’s rare to see these kinds of difficult topics explored on TV, and the fact that Ted Lasso did it so accurately & sensitively, is just incredible.

So, I just wanted to say thank you. This show means so much to so many people, for a million different reasons. That, in and of itself, is extraordinary. I also just wanted to give a quick shout out to Nick Mohammed, whose brilliant performance made us fall in love with Nate the underdog, then rage against his behaviour, and then, in one heartbreaking moment, maybe even feel a tiny bit of empathy for him again. The entire cast is spectacular though. From Hannah (is-there-a-better-actress-on-TV-right-now?!) Waddingham, to Jason’s subtle, layered & devastatingly real portrait of Ted’s struggles this year. What a performance.

Anyway. Onward… forward… to season 3 :)
