Testimony of determined young farmer.

Chileshe Chansa of Kasenke area in Chongwe(Lusaka) is a young farmer who through the chilimba savings money system, raised enough money to buy land in Kasenke area in 2016 and straight away began searching for a suitable seed company to help her with supply of high quality certified seed and information and knowledge to improve her crop production skills.

Chileshe chose to partner with SeedCo based on:

1. her experience with SeedCo Agronomists when she first visited SeedCo for information and guidance during her planning stage

2. testimonies of other farmers who had experience with SeedCo's SC 727 and SC719.

Since 2016, Chileshe has successfully planted SC 719 and produced bumper harvests which she supplied to the local industries.

In the 2020 farming season, Chileshe decided to practice crop rotation; she planted a SeedCo's soya bean variety called SC Spike which is doing very well with the help and support of SeedCo's Agronomist- Martin Munga and she is looking forward to a bumper harvest.
