This pump power calculation example provides a physical interpretation of the energy equation by applying the energy equation to a pump. The energy equation and Bernoulli equation are very similar to each other, with the main difference being the energy equation with a pump and head loss allowing for energy to be added or removed from the system. Near the end of the video, it is explained how to modify the pump power equation if you are given or need to also find efficiency of the pump.
