Haydn wrote numerous trios for Baryton, some one which translate well to other instruments. This trio has been adapted for basset clarinet with the viola and cello playing the original written parts. The basset clarinet used was completed in December 2020 as a copy of the Riga Drawing of Anton Stadler's Lotz basset clarinet.
