A Bangladeshi cargo vessel washed ashore near Tenneti Park in Visakhapatnam. A chopper of Indian Navy inspected the cargo vessel, M.V.MAA HT-194. People gathered to watch the cargo ship. As per reports, the cargo washed ashore due to high speed wind. On Monday, the city witnessed heavy rains due to deep depression over the Bay of Bengal. The residents had faced problems with waterlogging in several areas. Several commuters were seen struggling to get their vehicle safely out on the streets.
