You don't have to completely getting rid of the illnesses to be healthy. You can be healthy, right now! Learn to embrace our emotions, understand how we feel, find ways to manage them. In Chinese Medicine, it is the stress, worries, anxiety, grief that push our bodies to a not very balanced state and that's when symptoms and signs will arise. The body is sending the warning signals to us and ask us to look after ourselves!
