Join us in Mirabel, Canada at the Airbus production facility here, to meet the A220 where things all started years ago (when it began life as the Bombardier CSeries).

Airbus has built up an impressive industrial machine to crank out the fuel-efficient and passenger-friendly jet here, and we're taking you through all of it. In this video we're focusing on the Final Assembly Line (FAL), the pre-FAL (watch to find out what that is!), the Customer Response Center where all active A220s in the world are monitored using the latest technology to ensure the highest possible dispatch reliability (and using Flightradar24 of course). We'll also hear from executives at Airbus about how the industrial supply chain works, what they have planned for a ramp-up of the production rate, and what role the A220 plays in the overall Airbus product lineup.

In an upcoming part 2 we'll take you even further inside, looking at the paint shop, the flight test development, visiting FTV2 one of the original flight test aircraft, and looking at a completed aircraft just about ready for delivery to jetBlue.
