Omar Abdullah, leader of the National Conference, has been sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. The ceremony took place at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre at 11:30 AM, where Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha administered the oath to him and five other ministers. Surinder Choudhary was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister. Notably, no Congress MLA took the oath as a minister due to ongoing disagreements over ministerial positions.
