Wilmington is a city in the county seat of Clinton County, Ohio. Established in 1810 and Incorporated on January 1828. The Wilmington College was established in 1870 by the Religious Society of Friend. Wilmington college was established by Quakers and is the only private college in the state that offers an Agricultural program. Downtown Wilmington features a number of shops and eateries, the Murphy Theatre has been entertaining people since 1918. There are so many great historical buildings. Clinton County Courthouse was built in 1918, the courts met in various locations around town until the court was finished in 1813. The courthouse was undertaken in two phases. Wilmington, Ohio is the birthplace of the Banana Split, there's a local festival to celebrate the treat each year in June. I found Wilmington City to be so charming on my visit.
