I hiked to Shkhara Glacier, at the base of Mount Shkhara, the highest point in the Republic of Georgia (17,070 ft), along with Max Thompson. We hiked out and back from Ushguli, Georgia. This hike takes place in the Upper Svaneti Region, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Views include mountains, meadows, rivers, streams, the glacier, cows, horses, dogs, and some bonus footage from Ushguli. This is the first of two hikes that we did in the area.
