There is a beautiful canyon and waterfall that can be seen from Pitt River forestry road. At first it looks like a perfect spot for a quick dip but on closer inspection, there are some mysterious abandoned ruins. The rope swing and swimming area had to be momentarily postponed in favour of some interesting exploring.
