A maple and padauk brick style cutting board.
I'm super happy with how this turned out. It might be my favorite project yet. I love the contrast between the padauk and maple. Padauk just looks awesome when it's oiled up.
I used a lot more clamps when gluing than shown in the video. I just cut the extra for brevity/to keep things interesting. There was also a lot (LOT) of sanding cut. Probably close to an hour of sanding in the end. I really need to buy a drum sander.
I made 5 of these at once so that's why some of the shots show more wood than the final product. 4 went to my groomsmen at my recent wedding and the last, which you see in the video, was sold on Etsy.
