With the recent release of the PS5 Pro, it was immediately apparent that the console came without a disc reader. One can be purchased additionally, but it showcased a movement of digital only video game consoles becoming more common than consoles that offer both download and physical games. A debate took off online with some venting their frustration at this new design and those who approved of the decision, citing that "Digital is the Future".
