Kayla has been struggling to run a home care business. Her mom has given her loans multiple times with no success. She has not been successful with her love life either and she is 40. Meredith (Karen Abercrombie), her mother encourages her to strike a balance between career and love life. Dr John, the father of Maddie, a successful business lady in her twenties, comes into the picture and not only plays the role of a fiance, but a spiritual and business mentor. The assumptions and insecurities in Kayla's life makes the journey a bit difficult, but later gives way. The dual romantic story of Kayla and Maddie makes the film very inspiring and intriguing.
