Join us as we explore the quaint New Zealand town of Hokitika. Our morning starts with a visit to the National Kiwi Centre. We've yet to encounter a kiwi in the wild (we did the next day), so we took advantage of our location and checked it off the list.

Next, we strolled along the beach, admiring all the entries in Hokitika's annual Driftwood and Sand Festival. A unique event that we luckily stumbled across.

From there, we continue South towards the village of Haast, stopping at Gillespies Beach and spending the night under the shadow of Fox Glacier.
