The Lexus UX 300h is powered by a 2L 4-cylinder with Lexus Hybrid Drive, it’s matched to an e-CVT and gets a combined 196 horsepower. In Canada standard AWD and in the US FWD and AWD options are available.
What’s New? The The Lexus UX 300h is the first Lexus vehicle powered by the 5th generation hybrid system, it has an extra 15 horsepower compared to the previous model. There’s an available 12.3” digital driver display and digital key, a new shifter and a new colour Copper Crest. Lexus Safety System + 3.0 is standard on all trims.
Although this is a small hybrid crossover, it sure offers a lot of value if you don’t need the extra space. It comes standard with a 7” driver display, an 8” touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 6-speaker audio system, 8-way power front seats, heated and ventilated front seats, Nuluxe upholstery, a heated steering wheel and a moonroof. Unfortunately, heated rear seats are not offered on the UX.
In the US, there are some features that are not standard like heated and ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel but they are available.
We are driving the Luxury trim with a Grecian water exterior and Palomino Nuluxe interior which I think is a winning combination. Our test model has the larger 12.3” screens which give the UX a more upscale feel.
The AWD The Lexus UX 300h fuel economy is fabulous, 5.3L/100 km, 44 MPG city and 5.9L/100 km, 40 MPG highway.
In Canada, the The Lexus UX 300h starts at $46,937 CAD, F Sport Design $48,007 CAD, Luxury $52,401 CAD and F Sport 2 $54,676 CAD.
In the US, FWD/AWD $37,515 USD/$39,085 USD, Premium FWD/AWD $40,715 USD/$42,285 USD, F Sport Design FWD/AWD $41,465 USD/$43,035 USD and F Sport Handling FWD/AWD $45,980 USD/$47,550 USD.
