Michel Odent is a world renowned doctor and obstetrician. His life starts in Oise, 1930, born to a baker's family. He lived during the Nazi occupation and went on to study Medicine at the University of Paris. His reason for doing so was, in his own words, to understand the human being. He explains his work as a surgeon for the french army during the Algerian war. And his later transition towards child birth, in which he became a pioneer of natural birth and research on what women need in such a spiritual instance. Michel is humble, insightful and an inspiring human.
