This is a detailed video showing how to repair and install a front bumper on the Mercedes R107 SL.

We used a bull nose carbide burr to grind out the rust on the back of the chrome sections, and sprayed Eastwood rust encapsulator to seal and protect the back of these sections against rust in the future.

The steel sections and the brackets were heavily rusted and pitted so we sent them off to Bristol Motorcycle Powder Coating with good results. https://www.bristolmotorcyclepowderco....
