Lou Baskind is a District Veterinarian with South East Local Land Services and is based in Braidwood. She graduated from Sydney University in 2009. She has worked in private practice including roles in the United Kingdom, Alice Springs and locally in Braidwood and Bungendore. Lou grew up on the land and has dabbled in small farming herself, raising pastured chickens. She is passionate about distributing best-practice, evidence-based information to landholders to help them ensure the health and welfare of the animals in their care.
