Restoration of an ancient WW1 trench kerosene lamp. This antique and rare find came to me in very poor condition. The surface of this lamp is all covered with rust and corrosion. It was found during excavations at the sites of military battles. This antique kerosene lamp is made of brass. The lamp can be filled with kerosene, oil, butter, etc. The soldiers used it to light their trenches and keep warm. This thing absorbed all the historical memory of the people who used it and the wartime of World War 1. I have tried to restore this kerosene lamp to perfect condition. I hope I did well. Did you like the result of the restoration? Write how you would restore this antique lamp? Maybe you have some good tips and ideas? At the end of the restoration, we will check how it actually burns and illuminates the room. I don't know for sure who made such kerosene lamps and what year they were.
