Hello and welcome to my channel! In this episode we transform several items that are commonly found in thrift stores with macrame to give hem them new life. We first make a macrame wall hanging basket with a wicker serving tray from goodwill. It can be used to display so many things from plants to books to toys. Next, with three old jars that I had on hand, we create macrame jar covers that turn the jars into cozy lanterns and vases. Finally, we create a beautiful and easy macrame skirt for a salvaged old basket to turn it into a warm and cozy planter for a fern. Each of these projects are done with three simple knots, the larks head knot, the square knot and a double half hitch knot. I adore the macrame for all of the texture and depth it can add to your home as well as how relaxing it is to make. I hope you enjoy all of these projects and are inspired to come up with some of your own unique ways to incorporate macrame into your thrifted finds or items that you may already own.
