ACA P-50 | 2 minutes alert | DeSoto TX.
At 2:00 p.m. on 2/7/24, DeSoto had their monthly siren test. DeSoto has nine Federal Signal 2001-SRN's and one lonely ACA P-50 (which contributes to most of their siren system). I headed over to DeSoto for my last siren test of the day. I had come two months prior, but at the time, the siren was awaiting a part. Apparently, last month, the only reason the siren sounded was because there were some maintenance workers that got the green light from the city. This siren was LOUD. This was the only time I ever felt the ground shake. As the siren went off, you could feel it in your core. I was a little bit sad they didn't sound it in attack this month, but it was still a very fun test. I was joined by one other enthusiast, @KryptonSvingar.
