In this video I demonstrate how to call the Census API and extract data on housing occupancy in Vermont and quickly visualize that data in Tableau. This builds on our work in Module 4. I am using a Chrome browser to access and call the API using HTML, the desktop version of Excel to quickly edit it, and Tableau web authoring tool to visualize.
