Feria de Londres, brought its famous Spanish Andalusian spring carnival spirit back to London’s South Bank. This year in the beautiful and aptly named Bernie Spain Gardens, Feria de Londres once again transformed the banks of the Thames with colourful stalls serving up delicious Spanish tapas, croquetas, iberico ham, tortillas, seafood paella, pimientos de padron, cocktails and tastings, fino from Tio Pepe, wines, beers or treat with some delicious sugar coated churros. Vibrant Flamenco dancing shows, interactive workshops and live Spanish music in celebration of Andalusian culture.
Throughout bank holiday weekend entertainers will be dressed in their finest traditional costumes and festival goers were encouraged to immerse themselves in the fair as though they were in Andalucia rather than Southwark.
From Sevillana dance lessons to flamenco rhythm workshops, Feria de Londres also offered family-friendly activities, with activities for children in the form of face painting, hair styling, arts and crafts.
