In this episode, I had the honor and privilege of accompanying former Assembly Member Adam Gray and Professor Nate Monroe as part of their annual legislative bootcamp. They have undertaken the initiative to raise funds, thereby enabling six UC Merced students to intern in Sacramento, in and around the State Capitol, in various roles throughout our government. Additionally, they leverage their personal networks to secure speakers from current legislative staff members and, most importantly, dedicate their valuable time to provide each student with unlimited access to their extensive knowledge. The Center for Analytical Political Engagement (CAPE) Office is an invaluable resource for students aspiring to pursue a career in politics.
