Bentley walks you through setting up a schematic network for a storm water management project in StormCAD V8i.
In this session we start a new StormCAD project; using the layout tools, we design a simple plan and place conduits, catch basins, catchments, and outflow.
With the layout in place we then edit the properties of our storm sewer system, entering information for elevations, grate length, clogging factors, time of concentration, conduit type, etc.
We finish the session by creating storm data, applying it to the model, and then testing the storm water flow in the model.
