Description: This film explores the work carried out by the Greater London Council, during the mid-1980s, to improve cycling in London. In particular, by providing dedicated lanes for the capital's many cyclists. Entitled 'Cycling for London', this 20 minute film was written, produced and directed by J.R. Davies, and includes interviews with both cyclists, campaigners and GLC planners.

This film is part of the collections at London Metropolitan Archives, a public research centre which specialises in the history of London.
