Peter the First had a difficult relationship with his son from his first wife, Tsarevich Alexei. The tsar did not love him, considered him unworthy of the throne, the prince was afraid of his father, tried, but could not establish relations with him, suffered because of his mother, whom Peter sent to the monastery.
