I will introduce Izu Shaboten Zoo in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
The visit date is June 21, 2024.
It was raining heavily that day, so I took the photos wearing a raincoat. It was impressive to see birds and kangaroos in the heavy rain. Also, the biggest thing was meeting an emu.
Other features of the park include owls, horned owls, flamingos, peacocks, parakeets, capybaras, and red pandas, which can be seen up close.
The show held in the main auditorium is not shown in the video, but it was a competition between visitors and animals, which was very impressive. Please check it out on site.
After the zoo, I tried to climb Mt. Omuroyama, but the lift was out of service, so I visited again the next day and went to Mt. Omuroyama. I will send you that video next time.
I would like to visit again on a sunny day in autumn when it gets cooler.
